Clairton Cleanup with Environmental Justice Table

This cleanup is in partnership with Three Rivers Waterkeeper, Upstream Pittsburgh and Watersheds of South Pittsburgh. Please arrive at 8:45am for donuts, coffee and a safety talk. We will be cleaning up litter, dumping and tires in alleyways surrounding the Clairton Community Garden.

All volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes or boots, long pants, long sleeves and a hat are encouraged to protect from poison ivy, ticks, and sunburn. Please be advised these cleanups are messy. Don’t wear anything you don’t want ruined. There are times we are working on steep hillsides, in alleyways, on abandoned lots or near waterways. Bring extra clothing as you may want to add layers, loose layers or change after the cleanup. We will provide work gloves and all other necessary tools and materials. Please be sure to bring your filled reusable water bottle!
