Pittsburgh often touts itself as a “most livable” city, yet it continues to struggle with serious environmental problems, from air pollution to . unsafe drinking water. In response, The Heinz Endowments has supported numerous efforts to develop lost-cost technologies and data visualization that reveal environmental conditions and can be used by groups to monitor these problems.
