Saturday, July 25th, noon to 2pm, at the Bartlett Shelter, Bartlett St, Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 (

If you’ve volunteered before, please come say Hi! If you think you might like to help plan the next conference in February 2027, or help on the day of the Summit, come meet everyone and learn more. If you’ve thought about presenting a workshop, this is a great time to meet some of the folks involved, too. The Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit has shared with the community for 28 years — become part of the 29th!
We’ll have hamburgers, hot dogs, and vegan veggie patties on the grill, plus buns and condiments. We’ll be bringing side dishes to share, and hope you can, too!
You don’t have to sign up, but if you do RSPV we’ll be sure to have plenty to eat. 😉
The Bartlett Shelter & Playground has a paved path from the sidewalk to the shelter, with one short section of cobblestones. There’s isn’t a curb cut from the street to the sidewalk directly in front of the path, but there is one along the sidewalk between the entrance to the path and the intersection of Bartlett and Hobart, as well as curb cuts at the intersection.
