Food & Water Action
The Shell Plastics Plant in Beaver County pollutes our air and water, threatens our health, and profits by sacrificing our community’s future. Now, they’re seeking permit renewals that could allow even more toxic emissions—unless we take action.
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA-DEP) will soon decide whether to grant Shell permits that could keep emissions dangerously high for years to come. If we don’t demand stronger protections, Shell will continue business as usual—polluting with little accountability.
But we can change that. By turning out in force for public meetings and submitting comments on these permits, we can push for the strongest possible restrictions to protect our families, hold Shell accountable, and fight for a cleaner, safer future.
Join us for an educational event near you to uncover what’s buried in Shell’s latest permit applications, understand what’s at stake, and learn how you can make your voice heard before it’s too late. We’ll break down the technical details in a way that’s easy to understand, flag serious concerns, and provide you with the tools to fight back.
