Shell’s plastics plant in Beaver County pollutes our air and water and threatens our health. But right now, we have an opportunity to change that. Some of Shell’s permits expire this year, which means Pennsylvania state regulators will soon decide whether or not to grant Shell permit renewals that could keep emissions dangerously high for years to come.
By turning out in force for public meetings and submitting comments on these permit renewal applications, we can push for the strongest possible restrictions to protect our families, hold Shell accountable, and fight for a cleaner, safer future.
Join us for an educational forum near you to uncover what’s buried in Shell’s latest permit applications and how you can take action!
At each of these forums, we’ll dig deep into what Shell wants in these permits, what’s hidden in the fine print, what it all means for our air and water, and opportunities for public input.
If you live in Beaver County, care about clean air and public health, or just want to learn more about permitting processes in our state, we hope you’ll join us for one of these events!
This event is organized by Beaver County Marcellus Awareness Community (BCMAC), Food & Water Watch, Three Rivers Waterkeeper, Moms Clean Air Force, and Breathe Project.
