Equity & Justice in Climate Accountability: Post-election discussion

As the climate accountability movement grapples with the implications of the U.S. election outcomes, we invite you to a special breakout discussion on Thursday, December 12th at 12pm Pacific / 3pm Eastern. The goals are to share strategic insights across organizations, and consider how the new political landscape will affect climate accountability efforts.

All attendees are welcome to share key updates and pivots from their work.

In preparation for the discussion, here are some guiding questions to consider:

1) How are you/your organization responding to the election results? In what ways are you either shifting or maintaining your work?

2) What do you think climate accountability can or should look like within the new political landscape?

3) What are major questions and concerns you have now that are related to equitable and just climate accountability efforts?

This discussion will help inform the final two sessions of the series in 2025, when we will further discuss how to advance equitable and just campaigns for holding the fossil fuel industry accountable.
