Air Quality Town Hall #15 – “Are Elected Officials Abandoning Us?”

We live in one of the worst 1% of places in the country for air pollution-related diseases, yet Allegheny County Council members have failed to pass their Health Department’s proposed fee increase, paid by polluters, for the permits that allow them to operate.

At the town hall, we will be inviting a team of experts who have joined us in advocating for a Allegheny County Health Dept. permit fee increase.  The panel will raise questions about why our elected officials have abandoned those whom they are sworn to serve.
