With a broad background, including education as a respiratory therapist, and having served 5 years as a councilwoman with the municipality of Monroeville, my dedication to protect clean air and water continues, now in retirement. I have long admired and supported organizations dedicated to these rights and decided that Protect PT in nearby Westmoreland County was interested in our Turtle Creek Watershed. They needed to grow a strong board of directors. I joined that board upon retirement in 2019 and now serve as chair. PPT has been successful and I support its work and mission as it continues to engage in land use protection of the watershed, educate the public who deserve clean air and protect the environment we are guaranteed constitutionally.
