Valley Clean Air Now (VCAN)
I worked for U.S. Steel for 36 years and was also involved with the safety and civil rights committee for a long time on the union side. U.S. Steel is a very devious company. My wife suffers every day from Sarcoidosis which is directly related to coal byproducts. Every time I go to a funeral I am looking at people who’ve died from COPD and cancers that are related to this coke plant. It’s ridiculous how many people are dying in the Mon Valley from these cancers compared to the rest of the United States. Why can’t people see this?
