Concerns around air quality in the Uptown, Birmingham and Hill communities were first raised during an Uptown Partners meeting more than five years ago. One of the biggest pollution concerns is the Lindy Paving and Asphalt Plant located under the Birmingham Bridge and several surrounding businesses.
