March On Harrisburg

MarchOnHarrisburg (MoH) was born during the 140-mile Democracy Spring march from Philadelphia to Washington, DC in the spring of 2016, demanding an end to the corrupting influence of big money in politics and protecting the right to vote for all Americans. A few of our founding members met during the march and discussed creating a democracy movement focused on passing pro-democracy and anti-corruption laws at the state level. Rabbi Michael Pollack organized his fellow Pennsylvanians into the core team of MoH while being held in a warehouse after over a thousand nonviolent protesters were arrested at the US Capitol building – one of the largest mass arrests at the Capitol building in history.
