Rise UP- Organizer Training by 412 Justice & CTWO

412 Justice and Center for Third World Organizing invite fellow community justice and MOVEMENT members/LEADERS from across South West PA to join for a two-day intensive training on Organizing and Direct Action to make change! This hands-on learning environment will empower leaders using tools, techniques, innovations, and old-school best practices to generate deep community engagement.

• Day 1 (Organizing 101) Saturday Feb 17th- Community Organizer Training 11am-4pm
• Day 2 (Direct Action) Sunday Feb. 18th- Direct Action Training 11-4pm

Sessions Will Include:

Deep Organizing and Trauma-informed organizing practices to planning thoughtful and detailed direct actions ( A breakdown of sessions/Itinerary will be sent out closer to time)

They will be serving morning coffee, pastries and a hardy lunch. There will also be childcare, accessibility and interpretation services available upon request. You may also go home with a 412 Justice Swag Bag.

Cost: Sliding Scale (Per Person) For Both Days and food

• $300 Organization Partner Level
• $500 Organizations (Budget over 350k)
• 412 Justice Members (Free)
• Scholarship are available for directly impacted individuals
