Reading the Room: Facilitation Strategies Workshop

Join organizer Larisa Mednis, M.S.W. (Clean Air Council) for a workshop that will challenge conventional approaches to facilitation and explore methods for increasing participation, relationship-building, and equality in community meetings. Using the framework of popular education, we will draw from our own experiences in movement spaces to brainstorm ideas and apply theory to practice! Expect discussion, role-plays, and activities designed to apply the concepts we’re learning about in real time. Participants will leave the workshop with new tools for running democratic meetings that drive community-based action.
