The economy has not been working for most people and places in the Ohio River Valley. A broad and inclusive coalition of Appalachia community leaders and individual representatives of economic, environmental, and grassroots organizations stand united on changing the future, offering hope for our next generation—of all races, ethnicities, and genders. Their vision is grounded in our land and centered on creating local wealth with a focus on building a 21st century economy that’s good for workers, communities, and the environment.
