SUMMARY:POPCO 2026 Convening
DESCRIPTION:We know what we’re up against; that’s why many of us are in this movement. From de-regulation to data centers\, many of our frontline communities are facing intensifying threats. How are we adapting to truly meet this moment — and how are we taking care of ourselves in the process?\n\nIn this spirit\, POPCO invites you to our annual coalition gathering. Under the banner theme of “Disconnect to Reconnect\,” we will spend 3 un-rushed days living and relaxing in community together\, prioritizing screen-free peer learning\, intentional conversations\, and shared memory-making.\n\nThis year\, we’re embracing our camping side! We will gather at The Eco Camp (11520 Grass Run Rd\, New Marshfield\, OH 45766) in the beautiful Hocking Hills region. Plan for an afternoon arrival on Tues\, Sept 29 and a morning departure on Friday\, Oct. 2. Please note that due to the rustic location\, there is no wifi and limited cell service at the camp.\n\nPOPCO will cover your lodging and meals\, and mileage reimbursement is available if not provided by your home organization. We are also planning on providing on-site childcare. We encourage you to share your accessibility needs with us as we plan accommodations.
