After years of production the much anticipated premiere of INVISIBLE HAND is happening September 4, 7:00 p.m. at the Carnegie Lecture Hall* in Pittsburgh, PA. From Executive Producer Mark Ruffalo comes the world’s first documentary film about the creation of ‘Rights of Nature.’ A plot-twisting, “eye-opening” story about the defining battle of our times where nature, democracy and capitalism face off in rural America.
The film’s award-winning directors Joshua B. Pribanic and Melissa Troutman, members of the Seneca Nation of Indians, and Cast from Grant Township who will be present for a meet and great and Q&A as well as the founders of the East Run Hellbenders Society and Chad Nicholson from the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund (CELDF). Discussion after the film will focus on Rights of Nature in Pittsburgh, a new economy based on nature’s rights, and what that means for Democracy and establishing Rights of Nature throughout the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers.
