Celebrating Black Arts in Pittsburgh: Community Discussion

  • This event has passed.

Join the Black Arts Action Committee, supported by the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, for a community discussion centered around Pittsburgh’s Black arts community. Meet fellow artists and arts administrators to celebrate our community and discuss important topics. These community discussions are meant for you to share what you’re working on and find collaboration and resources. The Arts Council and the Committee will also use these discussions to inform how we can support you and the community in the future.

This event is exclusively for artists or arts administrators who identify as Black. It’s important that we create a safe space where sensitive topics and conversations can be held.

Breakout Rooms:

Attendees can navigate through several breakout rooms at their own pace. Please share what you’re working on and how we can support you. We will all meet at the end to discuss key takeaways from our discussions. Moderators for each session will be announced soon!
