Ever since I was young, I always wanted to improve communities like mine (Wilkinsburg) that have suffered from disinvestment and build them up to thrive again without displacing those who currently live there. It’s our human right to have a clean, safe and equitable environment no matter what zip code you live in. So my goal is to do everything I can with my communities to change policies and ensure that is true, especially for black and brown families.
